Meet the team – Naseeb Tareeq

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. My name is (Mohammad) Naseeb and I have recently joined 4Pillars in a split role – Environmental Consultant and Business Development Manager.

Soon after completing my bachelor’s degree in commerce, I moved to Australia to pursue my Masters in Sustainable Development. I always wanted to work in the environment and sustainability field, and studying Environmental Science took me one step closer to my dream. It was very challenging as I had no previous experience in the Environment field, but my strong dedication and hard work helped me to pass my degree with flying colors.

I have previously worked as a waste consultant, where I helped design different waste processing facilities. I have also worked with the Invasive Species Council, Strathfield City Council, and the City of Ryde. I was also the Vice president of Macquarie University Sustainability Society.

Early this year, the CEO of 4Pillars, James Hammond saw my potential and offered me a unique split role within the company – Environmental Consultant and Business Development Manager. I was happy to accept the offer as the position allows me to use the skills I developed through both of my degrees.

The consulting role involves tasks such as noise monitoring, surface, and groundwater monitoring, preparing management plans, and GIS mapping. My BDM role includes updating and improving marketing material, developing the company marketing strategy and engagement plan, coordinating social media and blog activity, managing & retaining relationships with existing clients, and growing our client base.

When I am not working you will see me traveling, socializing, and exercising at the gym. I enjoy watching Sci-fi movies and suspense thriller series on Netflix. I also love listening to different podcasts on space and physics (black holes, big bang theory, string theory, and the steady-state universe theory) and love to talk about rationality and share market investment.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
