Price & Speed Containers Pty Ltd is an Australian, family owned business operating several sites in NSW. They are known for their expertise in providing a wide range of services relating to shipping containers and logistics.
Price & Speed Containers Pty Ltd have recently purchased 19-25 Anne Street, St Marys, NSW 2760 (Lot 169 DP31911) (the Site) and are intending to establish and operate the Site as a Resource Recovery Facility (tyre recycling facility).
The proposed development is expected to include:
- Establishment of the Site as a Resource Recovery Facility.
- Receipt, storage (internal and external) and processing of End of Life (EOL) and Off The Road (OTR) tyres.
- Processing of tyres to produce tyre derived fuel (TDF) and rubber crumb.
- Operation of the Site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pending the results of various impact assessments, this may be altered to ensure there is no significant impact on surrounding receivers.
We are now seeking your feedback, thoughts, and concerns on the proposed development at the Price & Speed Containers’ proposed tyre recycling facility at St Marys. Your feedback will be considered in developing aspects of the proposed development and will be addressed in the Scoping Report and the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) which will be submitted to the relevant authority as part of the development application.
The Scoping report will be available in the coming weeks and the EIS will be released for public opinion and feedback (once finalised). Structured consultation will occur in phases, however you can provide your input at any point until project completion (late 2024).
